No Bullying Policy
At Park Farm (PF) we are committed to provide an environment that is friendly and warm to all the liveries at PF. The ability to carry out your sport, hobby, or simple relaxation in a calm secure environment is a priority at PF. Everybody here has a com
mon denominator, respect for all must always be observed; this means that opinion that are not asked for are not welcome.
The recognised Bullying definition is:
“Bullying is any deliberate, hurtful, upsetting, frightening, or threatening behaviour by an individual or group towards other people. Bullying is mean and results in worry, fear, pain, and distress to the victim(s).”
Reporting to management
It must be stated that on rare occasions disagreement do occur, however PF expect these to be dealt with in a mature, rational, quiet manner. Management like to be notified even in these situations, usually common sense and a reality check prevails. However, depending on the situation and severity, measures by management may be implemented if we think a member is out of order and 1 warning ONLY will be given if serious.
If bullying as defined above is suspected or is being perpetrated, incidents must be reported to management as soon as possible, either by parties involved or by liveries observing; this can be done on a confidential basis if necessary.
These incidents will be investigated by myself, witness statements and PF security system will also be used to corroborate any allegations if necessary.
If bullying is confirmed in breach of PF contact, depending on the severity, the Police may also be involved. That livery will be suspended from attending PF and 1-months contractual notice given to remove their horse.
Full livery will be provided at the liveries cost until removal and full contractual settlement.
Park Farm has a ZERO tolerance to bullying
