About The Farm

park farm & arable livery

Park Farm is an arable farm operating for nearly 60 years and a 33-horse livery yard for over 30 years. Situated on the Holford estate in Northwich, Cheshire. The arable side now produces Maize for cattle feed, the farm is a tenanted business from INOVYN a subsidiary of INEOS.

Park Farm is a grade two listed farmhouse and buildings set in the Cheshire countryside with stunning views all round. There are miles of off-road hacking and field riding available at certain times of the year on the arable ground and hay fields.

The day-to-day livery services and general management are run by Kim. However, I am never far away and always approachable.

We are a family friendly livery yard who pride ourselves on our inclusive professionally run facility. A lot of our liveries have been with us for over 20 years.

All paddocks are post and rail with electric on the top for protection. All lays are pony/horse mixes to give early, mid, and late season grazing. Hay production is also aimed at equestrian requirements supporting specific varieties.

Our stables are purpose built with automatic waters in all stables, so no water carrying is required. We have tack rooms with toilet and washhand facilities with designated feed and tack bays for all liveries. There are also further farm storage areas for each livery holding Hay, Straw and haylage all supplied by ourselves.

Our facilities include a standing bay for clipping and shoeing; next door we have wash bay with hot water for wash downs.  Hay soaking can be problematic for some with laminitic and EMS conditions, so with this in mind, we have designated soaking bay.

We also have an on yard 20 by 40 menage made up of sand and fibre with lights for night-time use.

All the facilities, including the farm rides, are for the sole use of patrons at Park Farm.
